    Great quality for the price. I had my hair cut by Nika who did a wonderful job! She gave me an advice for my haircut and did everything to get the effect that I wanted. It's a nice saloon and all personnel seemed perfectly friendly and nice so I am confident I would become their client in the future.

    The salon follows false advertising. The place did not look remotely as it is pictured. The lady in the photo was nowhere in the Salon, and the décor did not match as shown. Hair stylist advertised at top level was below mediocre. I came home with a hair-cut that my own son could not recognize me. Does Treatwell bothers to do any quality check on salons like these? Geeeeeez!

    Dear Mr Ghatak, Thank you for your feedback! We are sorry to hear you did not experience the salon as you would have liked. The photographs taken of the salon and shown on Treatwell are made by photographers working for Treatwell and not much has changed since the photographs were last taken. Furthermore, a sizeable portion of Treatwell staff get their hair done in our salon and, believe it or not, they do so happily and without getting any discount. We are open six days a week with several shifts and not everybody works on the same shifts. The person you are referring to in the photographs does not do Wednesday evening shifts, this was also communicated to you during your visit. Nonetheless, during a booking you can always leave a comment if you would like to be helped by a specific hairdresser or even select a type of hairdressing school you are accustomed to. The Senior Stylist whom helped you has over 10 years’ experience and has worked at top salons in London, New York, Tokyo and now, with us, in Amsterdam. From what we understood from the stylist helping you was that you wanted your hair cut to reduce the waviness of your hair and clean-up your hair as you hold a business function. She did that by cutting roughly three and a half centimeters of your hair and reshaping the cut to your wishes. Which resulted in you not only being very happy during check-out but also tipping the stylist for the services provided. Now we understand that after you leave, you may have doubts about your haircut and that is completely acceptable, but that should not result in accusing us from false advertisement as that is nowhere near the case and is strictly against our policy. If you would like us to check on your hair please do give us a ring or send us a mail. We will be more than happy to help you in exactly the same handmade salon as you have seen in the pictures.     I had highlights, 1/4 head. I must say, im very disappointed about this place, since i was choosing it unhand of the high rating on treat well – this is the only reason, i rate it here as well, and write this comment, just to make this point: there was 30 min *delay*, so i was 1 hour later ready to go, as expected - even i got 1/4 head done, not 1/2 as i booked. the team was definitive overbooked: 2-3 clients for a hairdresser at the same time! the consultation was well, the stylist was very nice, but: the stylist was not dedicated to me, and she permanently had to take a *break* to take care about an another client, that had to share her service with me and an another one too – so since i had blond highlights, i went with one side of my head brighter then the another! such thing makes me seriously just cry, because my hair is very long and want keep it in the best shape, i dot care about costs much, but want the best quality treatment as possible. I surpriselly didn't read here any *worning*, and the rating of this place was/is very high – but honestly: i would not recommend it at all. One more: the owner of the studio was present, but she was just staying behind the counter, which was strange, since here on treat well she presents herself as an hairdresser, and the team in her studio was overbooked and not able to keep up with the work, so i just don't understand, why they didn't get her help. i basically felt like *on a production-line*. Im giving here 3 points for *service*, but this is only because the stylist was really nice and careful, but obviously her boss didn't care much, that she has to teat 3 clients at the same time, which is a shame. sorry, never again.

    Hey Barbara, Thank you for your feedback! We take your feedback very seriously and have investigated the matter to figure out what exactly went wrong. Since your appointment dates from December 29th and your feedback is from April 2nd we cannot entirely be sure what exactly went wrong during your appointment. We do see in our system that you indeed had to wait for your appointment and we apologize for that. We deliver services and unfortunately sometimes things do not go as smoothly as we plan. That is why the owner has a rule to allocate extra time for new clients to make sure everything goes as planned. Your appointment was no exception as an additional half an hour was allocated for your appointment. In your case the stylist helping you misjudged the amount of time she needed with the previous client which resulted in a delay in her schedule. When something like this happens we generally call all clients coming to communicate this and come-up with a solution. We religiously avoid being overbooked, despite the demand, as there is simply no single person involved who likes that. Although the owner loves to be involved on every facet of the business she was booked-out on that day and was not able to help you at the time. We understand that you want the best quality treatment for your hair and so do we! That is why we offer a re-do policy provided that you communicate with us within two weeks that you are not happy about your hair.
