The lady was super lovely and welcoming. We had a nice chat.
There was a miscommunication about what you get in the package of getting a new set of acrylic nails. I have been to many salons before and it’s always a standard that for fake nails you get your cuticles cut and there is a gel nail polish applied so that it lasts until the next time you need to get a refill.
That’s not the case here. You need to book all of that as extra, but there is no information on that.
When I left, first thing I noticed, they weren’t filed properly, my nails got caught on my clothes etc. So had to go home and finish polishing my nails myself.
Then I noticed how thick they were and sides were going over my natural nail onto the skin.
The nail polish is applied so far from my skin that it already looks like they were done a week ago and have grown out.
I was going to not leave a review at all but this morning I woke up with my nails hurting like they never have before. So way too much of my natural nail was polished off.
Whilst the lady is super lovely person, the quality for the price is outrageous.

Ik moest gelnagels laten verwijderen en vond dat een beetje spannend. Suzanne was zeer professioneel en stelde me enorm op mijn gemak. Ze werkt secuur en netjes, niets wordt overhaast gedaan of afgeraffeld. Ik heb direct een nieuwe afspraak geboekt!

Suzanne was amazing! She is not only a very nice person, friendly and talkative, but also a great professional! My nails were looking horrible and all damaged after a "not so good" gellac treatment, and she fixed it just great! Neat and very nice work, to the perfection! I am very happy and for sure returning!! You got +1 permanent client, kuddos!!

Op de Tesselschadestraat in Amsterdam boven Cosmo Hairstyling is Pearly Nails gevestigd. Eigenaresse Suzanne is na het afronden van de opleiding Schoonheidsspecialiste en Nagelstyling deze salon gestart. Ze is al die tijd al een trouwe fan van de O.P.I producten en werkt in haar salon dan ook uitsluitend met producten van dit bekende merk. Op het moment is de manicure met GelColor van O.P.I een groot succes maar zet ze ook nog steeds vaak gel- en acrylnagels bij haar klanten. Handig om te weten: ze is op donderdag ook open tijdens koopavond.
