I had a lash extension treatment done with Ashley. I had never done this before and stressed that I wanted a very natural look. Being Asian, anything too long would would look unnatural. Next to that I recently pulled out some lashes with a curler and had a gap which I asked her to fill.
The treatment took an hour and Ashely was lovely. But the results were too dramatic and it suitable for daily life! The lashes were too long and when I mentioned it to her she told me they were the shortest length she had. The gap in my lashes were still not filled and she explained ONLY then that the lashes are glued onto existing lashes. Since I didn't have any lashes left there's nothing she can do. I then asked her if she can cut them shorter and she asked me to let it settle for a day. If I'm still unhappy then I can cut them myself.
Maybe I'm blowing this out of proportion, but I left there with my head down, embarasssed to be seen by anyone. I immediately washed my my face when I got home in hopes that the 80 euro lashes would fall off. To my disappointment they are still on.
I hope these girls get some training to explain the expectations to a customer to prevent something like this from happening again.
