Such a shame. I am almost 40 weeks pregnant and was so looking forward to treating myself to this massage. But it was terrible. I booked it 30 minutes before and for some reason that was noted as difficult - she said last minute bookings aren’t always possible but that it was okay. Immediately I felt like there was a problem. The room where I was massaged - the curtains didnt close properly which wasn’t great because I was getting semi naked with a view of the window to the street. I’m 40 weeks pregnant and my belly didn’t fit in the table - the hole in the middle had a piece of mesh that made it uncomfortable to lie on my front so the only way to have a massage was on the side but this really compromised the experience - it felt like no muscles were targeted at all - it just felt like someone was rubbing me instead of massaging me. Plus each side wasn’t evenly massaged and I missed out on the belly massage entirely . Then to finish, rather hilariously at this point - I was sprayed in the face with some scent which got in my eye - which was a disturbing way to end the massage. 125 euros for a pregnancy massage should be something you walk away feeling really treated from but it was super disappointing. Also as I was leaving she said ‘look at your face’ as if to laugh at being red or bleary eyed?! It was a really weird experience.
