awkward experience and worst manicure of my life.
I tried this place due to its reviews and because my usual person was not available at another salon. Oh boy was Megan's a bad experience. Had a lady who doesn't speak a word of English - which was later on helped out by another colleague of hers which was fine.
At some point, I believe it was Megan herself scolded one of her employees in front of all the customers - which made everybody super uncomfortable (later i found out apparently this happens a lot) - just as i though it couldn't get any worse, my nail polish started peeling off as soon as i got to my bike because it was a very thick layer of nail polish (4 coats) which got into the consistency of a play-doh.
i am really confused by everyone else's reviews but had a horrific experience myself and will never go back.

In Amsterdam it's overall pretty expensive to get your nails done but at Beauty by Megan you get good value for what you pay, compared to others place where you would pay at least 40€. The women working there are friendly but distant, and the quality and detail they put in the treatment differs between the staff. Also they sometimes rotate in between the treatment because of scheduling, this is not so nice. Better to have one person for your entire treatment.
