Nearly three years ago, she became the first Korean nail artist to establish herself in the Netherlands. Based in Amsterdam and Seoul, she is known for her signature 3D and chrome nail designs, Sophie’s work goes beyond nails—she is also a creative director, visual director, and producer. She creates 3D-printed accessories, artistic objects, and offers tooth gem services, bringing together beauty, fashion, and art in her work. Speaks Korean and English. In salon her focus is on curly hair and offers a special treatment that she calls her "Curl Spa Hair Treatment to delight and care for transforming dry, dull, kinky curls of all textures to smooth and springy and delicious. She uses a dry cutting technique devised by curl master Lorraine Massey of DevaCurl Salon. Mixing this technique with her own Curl Spa Products and delicate detangling with sulfate/paraben/ free products that replace the protein and remove build up on lifeless hair. She offers her clients a luxury service. Clients can opt for the full service or a la carte which includes a cut, deep conditioning treatment, hot oil, cut and blow (diffuse) dry. Also a graduate of House of Orange she is currently also freelancing as a Set Stylist in Amsterdam. Recent collaborations featured in ID, Vogue and Dazed Magazine,and on the runways in Paris, Milan and London.
