I am 30 years old and I was born in Hungary. I have lived in the Netherlands since April. So far I absolutely love it! I am very excited to be a part of Essence Spa and to have the opportunity to show my techniques and knowledge that I collected over the years. I have a real passion for massage and creating a peaceful space, where you can leave your thoughts or problems outside. I also do Swedish and deep tissue massage. I like to combine them, but of course the treatment's focus is always on what your body and mind need. Thank you for getting to know me and I cannot wait to meet you and release your knots!

My adventure started as a beautician in my hometown of Vancouver.  Merging my love for human contact with my unique, intuitive guide to uncover the hidden language of the body, I have developed a technique that is a mix between a Swedish (relaxing) and a deep tissue (stress relieving) massage. This mix helps to stimulate the smart, self-healing capacity of the body. I work with the physical body to stimulate the release of stress - possibly caused by our busy, stressful lives and sometimes by unprocessed emotions. I believe that the body is a reflection of our inner world and that it stores conditioned responses of consciousness -- redemption the body and the mind will follow. Central to my work is the need to help people return to self-regulation and to leave after treatment in a deep state of peace, reconnected and above all recharged.

My name is Parvati and I've been working as a massage therapist since 2017. My adventure started in 2016 in Thailand, where I learned Thai Yoga Massage. Soon after I was hired as a massage therapist. Since then I've taken several different courses and did a lot of training in different countries such as India, Canada, New Zealand and the Netherlands. I'm specialized in Thai, Deep Tissue, Swedish and Hot Stones massage. I also perform other types of treatments such as body treatments, facials, different types of cupping and guasha therapy. Currently I am studying Chinese medicine/ acupuncture and I will be graduating soon. My treatments are usually personalized according to your needs and I can use either one single style or combine several of them. I like to work on meridians and acupressure points, combined with some stretching. This makes sure to improve blood and Qi circulation, remove stagnation, alleviate pain and increase the general well being of every time. Hope to see you soon!

Hello, I’m Diana. With two years of experience working in multiple 5-star hotels and spas in Amsterdam, my aim is that my clients experience the highest level of care. My interest lies in healing, mental health and well-being. This is why I aim for a relaxing and spiritual experience for my clients. By combining breath exercises with the massage techniques, your body will instantly relax and tension will decrease. Also you reach a calm meditative state, which is a way of connecting to your bodily sensations and awareness. More than a massage you are also getting a moment that is truly yours. This is the feeling I get when I receive a massage, which is so powerful it encourages me to provide this for others through my work. My training includes Swedish, deep tissue and pregnancy massage. More recently I learned Thai massage with a training set up in Bangkok. By immersing myself inside the culture of Thai massage, I have learned to adopt it even more as part of my life-style and I have broadened my skills to serve my clients.

At a certain point in my life, I decided that I wanted to possess a craft in all of our five senses. Touch is one of those. So when I was 25 I started a massage course to acquire this skill for the sense of touch. This course was done at the Holos Academie in Utrecht, which trained me to be a Holos masseur. As a Holos Masseur I specialize in very slow-moving massage. Which means if my speciality shines through, I fully focus on a specific body part. For example, I use 60 minutes for the back massage only. As a result you will feel relaxed & fully aware of this body part. Added to this, I have been schooled to guide people during the massage. During the massage I’ll help you become more aware of the body & all the complexities which can get stuck. This is for mental as well as physical strains. Outside my formal training, I taught myself about different types of exercise and health. This is so that I am able to give advice about stretching & exercising, which can relieve pain & discomfort for a prolonged period of time.
