She’s a nice girl and she works hard, but that’s really where the positives end. I showed up to my appointment fully prepared with clear reference photos and detailed explanations of exactly what I wanted. She reassured me that she completely understood what I was asking for, we agreed on the length, and she started cutting. For context, I specifically asked for long layers, a U-shaped cut at the bottom, and proper face-framing pieces. What I ended up with was a very amateur-looking attempt at face framing, while the back of my hair remained completely straight — no layers and no U shape whatsoever. I didn’t even realize how bad it was until I got home because my hair wasn’t washed, styled, or shown to me properly at the end of the appointment. I wasn’t even offered a second mirror to check the back. Now I’m left having to find another salon to fix whatever happened to my hair and to finally get the haircut I originally asked for.
