Joshua took the time to really listen, explain what was possible and manage my expectations honestly. He is an excellent hairdresser and colourist, incredibly thoughtful and attentive, with great products and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Paris was warm and welcoming too and made the whole experience feel easy from the moment I arrived. I left very happy with my hair and feeling that I had finally found someone I could really trust with it. I think Joshua and I are in this for the long run.

Joshua and Parris were an excellent team. Josh patiently listened to my long list of requirements and concerns (my last two hairdressing experiences elsewhere were disasters), managed my expectations, and delivered exceptional quality. It's fantastic to have the North American standard of care that I'm used to. Highly recommend J. Boyd. They really know what they're doing.

Finding a new hair dresser is a stressful process but, J. Boyd Salon has made all of my anxieties melt away. The salon is quiet and welcoming - you instantly feel relaxed. I'm used to the hurry up, sit down and cursory listen to concerns before straightaway applying color or cutting my hair. This is the complete opposite - they listen, really understand your concerns and instead of obliging whatever you think you want to do they discuss the viability of the color or cut with your specific hair.
