Lewis, you are absolutely wonderful in all ways. Super talented. Great listener. Patient. And most of all, a warm and kind human being. Oh, and did I mention super talented ;-) I entered Mauve Lemonade in full code red hair trauma after attempting to give myself a haircut. TWICE. Never a good idea for sure but, I am visiting from NYC and figured I could buy myself a couple of weeks until I returned. Wore a hat every minute since that day. Not only did he undo the damage I did, my hair somehow now looks better than it has in years. Usually it never looks that great after a fresh cut. Always takes 2 days to settle. Magic I guess. The hat has been banished and I can only imagine how great it is going to grow out. What is so impressive to me is that this man never touched my hair before and yet somehow knew exactly how to make my specific hair type/texture/hairline, look its best. I basically explained what the people back home usually do and he proceeded to do an improved version of it. I also have to add that I was super nervous and probably rambled on way to much about all sorts of things. He must have picked up on that but he was totally kind, calming, and un-judgey. He also turned me on to some great product for my hair and gave me advice about how to maintain it. I live in NYC. The odds of me becoming a regular are pretty slim (Although the flight might be worth it) but he treated me as if I lived down the street. Thank you very much Lewis. Meeting you will be one of the highlights of this trip for sure. Be Well.
