I have naturally African hair coils , and I hoped for someone who actually understood my hair to cut it. The barber that cut me, knew a black man’s haircut but not an African one. In the end, it was a clean cut but left me wanting… I was also set off by the way he kept poking my head so that I could turn it te right way as though he was afraid to properly hold my head. But he was good at what he was doing overall
