Misunderstandings happen, but it's about how you deal with them. They dealt in the worst possible way, and mostly it's really unfair that they cancelled my Treatwell booking immediately so that I wouldn't be able to write about my experience there. They are also trying to remove my Google review.
I booked a spa pedicure. I arrived, told my name and booking time, and the lady helping me didn't speak good Dutch or English, so it was hard to understand her, but I thought it was totally ok. She passed me the colours to choose from, and I was surprised that I needed to choose a colour because I booked a spa pedicure, but I complied because I had never gotten a spa pedicure before and I didn't know what it included and thought that maybe it included some colour.
She started doing my toes, and when she was done, she told me that next time, I should book a spa pedicure before gel nails next time. And then I said I booked a spa pedicure and showed her the booking. She then was surprised and told me she did gel nails and will now do a spa pedicure. I didn't want gel nails... So she did some spa pedicure on top of gel, but really poor because the nails already had gel on them!!!
Then when they tried to charge me, they were charging me €90 - spa pedicure + gel nails - and gel was something I did not want!! I said I wanted only a spa pedicure. So that's when they immediately cancelled my booking on Treatwell so I wouldn't be able to leave a review there (nasty tactics), and then they said they gave me gel nails, so I had to pay for it. I said I don't want to pay for it so then they said they have to remove it. They removed it - I ended up spending more than one hour, not getting a proper spa pedicure, and having gel put on and removed. My toes don't look good at all (like at all) and I had to pay a price for a spa pedicure.

The worst experience in my life!
No matter where Maryam goes, I follow her. I have been going to her for 3 years now! Super professional, fast and always an entertaining conversation.
I’ve been doing gel polish since 2015 and I got the best gellak that I ever had at Sister’s Beauty. (I also got a biab under.) It’s been three weeks during which I did considerable amount of work in the kitchen, yet no signs of chipping. The ladies are great at their job and also very kind. Big thanks + I’ve already booked my next appointments.
I don’t understand how this place has such high reviews. Complete rip off. €47 for a basic pedicure and NO polish, it was also quite painful. The chairs and set up are situated very awkward and uncomfortable. Also they won’t allow you to use card via pin which is pretty strange and there’s no signage to suggest this. Basically you’d be better doing your own pedicure at home
