The gel polish was removed with a file which has now damaged my nails significantly. I wasn't told about other options for removal. Since this was the very first time I had gel polish removed I had no clue. My nails are now totally broken and splitting. They have blood spots on the tips. I'm not sure if this is normal but I doubt it. Added to that, I wasn't offered anything to drink in 2 hours. Nor does the manicure (or pedicure) include basic nail polish so a bit of a rip-off if you ask me....
