Finding a new hair dresser is a stressful process but, J. Boyd Salon has made all of my anxieties melt away. The salon is quiet and welcoming - you instantly feel relaxed. I'm used to the hurry up, sit down and cursory listen to concerns before straightaway applying color or cutting my hair. This is the complete opposite - they listen, really understand your concerns and instead of obliging whatever you think you want to do they discuss the viability of the color or cut with your specific hair.

What a beautiful experience! With delicious coffee, great conversation, attention to detail with colour and cut and beautifully curated salon this is probably my most favourite haircut and colour to date. I’m in the process of growing out my grey and Josh was great at calming me by creating an interim colour which keeps a sleek and professional look rather than the wild and harassed woman who entered the salon. Highly recommend. He’s a gem and the salon is gorgeous!
