I did not have a good experience with the apprentice. I said repeatedly to not cut off a lot of my hair or add intense layers but he chopped way more off of my hair anyway and added high and uneven layers in the front. I was so internally upset and emotional, but didn't want to hurt his feelings as a learning stylist, so I still tipped a small amount and said it was fine but, honestly, I am still so upset by the cut going against my wishes. Not a good experience, sadly.
