Whoops was an amazing experience from the massage chairs to the decor of the salon. However, as a major contributor to the $10 Billion dollar American black hair industry there is not to much I don't know about my hair, the products that I put in my hair, various techniques that are good for my hair or the equipment used on my hair. The problem with Whoops is that even though they have the best equipment (CHI, blow-dryer and flat iron) on the plant for black hair, they don't know anything about black hair. Due to their lack of knowledge, products, and false advertising, I was in the salon for 4 hours, charged for a treatment that I didn't need, and was charged three times the amount that was quoted on Treatwell's website only to come home and have to redo my hair. To make matters even worse, as I was paying the lady told me that because you don't have "European" hair, we have to charge you more because of the time it took. Why wasn't this stated when I walked in the door?
