A private nail studio in The Hague for people who believe “just a simple colour” is a perfectly acceptable choice… but should still have approximately 250+ colours and an unreasonable amount of nail art available just in case. 👁️👄👁️
IDA specialises in manicures, pedicures and nail enhancements using builder gel, acrylic, acrygel and gel polish, with professional products and tools from brands including The GelBottle, Staleks and Moyra.
And then there is the nail art collection.
Stones, foils, stamping plates, stickers, pigments, glitters, decals and enough tiny decorative objects to make choosing your design considerably harder than necessary. From minimal nails to detailed hand-painted and stamped designs, you can keep it elegant or arrive with an idea that requires architectural planning (which, incidentally, is one of my favourite parts — laughing with clients while figuring out how on earth we’re going to make an idea work. I genuinely love what I do, and I love a good challenge.)
The studio is private, relaxed and personal — no conveyor-belt appointments, no rushing through your treatment, and no expectation that everyone needs to be chatty. Come talk, don’t talk, bring inspiration, or tell me “do whatever you want” and accept the consequences. 😂
Communication is also fairly well covered: I speak six languages, so chances are we’ll find one that works. And if somehow all six fail us, I also possess the highly sophisticated ability to communicate with hands, feet, pointing, questionable sound effects and pure determination.

Getting here is easy too: tram 1 stops nearby, tram 9 is just around the corner, and there are several bus connections within easy walking distance. And since the beach is basically across the street, if you went out for a nice innocent walk by the sea and somehow ended up getting your nails done… well. These things happen. 😉🌊💅
Important studio management: the household also contains cats. They are not qualified nail technicians, have contributed absolutely nothing financially to the business, and yet remain convinced they are involved.
