Petal House is a personal 1:1 nail studio in Amsterdam, where every appointment is dedicated to you. I specialise in detailed Russian manicures, BIAB, refined French and nail art, and dry Smart Pedicures.

Inspired by a childhood memory of placing flower petals on my nails as my very first “nail extensions”, Petal House was created from a lifelong love for beauty, creativity and detail.

I believe beautiful results should never be rushed. I take the time to listen to what you want, understand your needs and find the right approach for you and your nails — always with care for the condition of your natural nails. Whether you know exactly what you want or would like some guidance, we’ll find a solution that feels right for you.

Hygiene and sterilisation are an essential part of every appointment. Reusable instruments go through a full cleaning, disinfection and professional sterilisation cycle, while single-use files, buffers and other disposable tools are used for each client.

Most importantly, Petal House is a safe, welcoming space where you can simply be yourself. Have a coffee or tea, chat, read, watch something, or enjoy some quiet time. There is no pressure to talk, no judgement and no need to rush.

My name is Elena, and I am the proud founder of Smart Beauty Lab Amsterdam and my own professional nail product brand, ICON by ELENA.

With over 10 years of experience in the beauty industry, I have dedicated my career to mastering innovative techniques, working with premium products, and delivering the highest standards of beauty treatments.

After years of running a large and successful beauty salon, I decided to take a new direction and transform Smart Beauty Lab into something more personal: a small, family-run mother-and-daughter beauty studio.

Together with my daughter Natalie, we focus on what matters most to us: quality over quantity, personal attention, and genuine care for every client.

We believe that beauty treatments should never feel rushed or impersonal. Every client deserves our full attention, professional advice, and a treatment tailored to their individual needs.
