Let me say first, i am a big fan of the Rituals brand and their products. I was intrigued by the idea that they offer services as well. I booked a manicure and a pedicure to treat myself after a long week. This unfortunately turned into my worst nightmare. The person who did my treatments was i guess quiet unexperienced or in training. She filed my nails uneven and way to short so my nails were actually hurting. The cleaning up around the nails was just messy and completely uncoordinated. The nail polish application was terrible. It was patchy and even i myself could have done a better job. The equipment was also cheap and not professional.
I asked about the unevenness of the nail and the person just blamed it on my nail.
The pedicure was ok, but she did mix up the nail polish i booked (shellac instead of nail polish) and said it was complimentary even though i had to pay it extra. Also the removal of the callus was done very quickly and not properly. In the meanwhile another staff member spilled a whole bottle of fragrance on my bag and didn’t even apologise. My bag i now smelling like a pine tree, which is very unpleasant.I am never going to this place again and hopefully Rituals will train and equip their staff members accordingly for them to execute their jobs properly for the expensive price customers are paying for a basic treatment. I’ve been to cheap nail places and even they left me somewhat satisfied for the little money I’ve paid.
