The purpose of this type of treatment is to reduce physical barriers to movement — such as sensitive or overworked tissues, areas that feel tight or restricted, or discomfort that limits how you move — so that movement, training, and active strategies can be performed more effectively. Massage supports this process; it does not replace it.
