Went for a lash lift, a treatment I’ve had before at other salons, but left with still straight but also broken lashes.
The venue looked dirty but I passed it offf as merely well used and a little run down - I should have run away at that point.
The lady who did the treatment barely spoke English, another red flag, and was handling the sensitive eye area very roughly (ouch!) and left the perming liquid on for too long so it burned my lashes, without lifting them. The whole ordeal took over 1,5h.
After when I saw that one eye only had half the lashes left I complained and she said it was my fault for using lash extensions and lash serum (which I don’t). When I said I don’t and that I was unhappy she said it will look better in 2 days (it doesn’t improve after 2 days, they will look more relaxed if anything) and to book a new appointment of it wasn’t better in 2 days.
Needless to say, I didn’t go back and won’t be going back for another treatment anytime soon.
