I was so happy to find a salon with a last-minute spot for a quick trim before an important job interview, but after I was so disappointed and mad at myself for not waiting patiently for my usual hairdresser.
I have straight hair that just needed a straight cut trim to freshen up the dead ends of my hair, and for most hairdressers this is a very quick and straightforward job.
My hair was so uneven, short, and horrible. She cut off over 3 inches, when we had agreed on one for the trim, and before I noticed it was much too late. She cut it with a razor, which doesn't work for my hair quality, and when she was done the hair on one side of my face was over an inch longer than the other!
At that point I had lost all trust in this hairdresser and didn't want to let her correct it. Instead I had to go to my job interview with a ponytail and wait a week for my regular hairdresser to squeeze me in to try to fix the mess I had gotten myself into.
