I visited the salon for a simple trim and toning. I clearly communicated that I only wanted to even out the ends while maintaining the length I had been growing out for two years.
Unfortunately, the stylist decided on her own to add layers without consulting me. She cut a significant layer into only one side of my hair before I noticed and could stop her. When I expressed that this was not what I asked for, she simply stopped cutting. There was no apology, no attempt to fix the mistake, and no offer of a discount. The service felt rushed, as the stylist was alternating between me and another client.
I am now left with uneven, unwanted layers that have compromised the length and style I worked so hard to achieve. My main issue is not just the mistake, but the complete lack of professionalism in handling it. I am very disappointed.

This is the second time Cheyenne has cut my hair and she is so versatile and super talented. Not only is she welcoming and amazing at her job but she didn't even shame me when I told her I cut my own bangs. eek. She listened to exactly what I wanted and provided the expertise to get me there.
